On May 18, 2021, the first E-Paper Industry Alliance Cross-Strait Smart IoT Summit was held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu. Experts and entrepreneurs from all walks of life gathered together to discuss various active IoT technologies such as Lora, WiFi, 2.4G, UWB, 4G LTE Cat1, and the combination of various passive wireless interconnection technologies such as NFC and UHF with electronic paper. Innovative applications in smart new retail, smart industry, smart logistics, smart office, smart medical, smart transportation and other fields.

At present, the electronic paper industry stands at the dual outlets of "carbon peak, carbon neutral" and digital economy. Beginning in September 2020, General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized China's strategic goal of reaching a peak of carbon by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060 on various domestic and international occasions. This will require all real economy industries to directly and indirectly assume responsibility for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Economists generally believe that carbon neutrality will give birth to a new era of digital economy. Actively promoting “carbon neutrality” will help China seize the historic opportunity of a new round of industrial revolution.
